Acting plays a huge part in my creative process. I love the opportunity it offers to work as part of a cast and team, and to get to experience different types of stories to the ones I create myself.
As in all my work, I am particularly excited by regional stories from the East Midlands, and exploring female characters who re-define what it means to be strong, passionate and complex.
Recent roles include: Stella in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and Lady Macbeth in MACBETH (The Asylum Players); Anne in THE FATHER and Lulu in THE BIRTHDAY PARTY (Common Ground Theatre); Ruth in HONESTLY (UK Tour); Marianne in MATRYOSHKA (Chronic Insanity / Theatre503); Sophie in I’M NOT THERE and Jessie in BODY OR SOUL (Fury Theatre).
